Ivor Novello Nomination for ‘Daniel’
It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Bat for Lashes has been nominated for an Ivor Novello award this year.
‘Daniel’, the lead single from the album ‘Two Suns’, has been entered into the ‘Best Contemporary Song’ award.
The winners will be announced on the 20th of May 2010.

but I hope Natasha wins. She’s an amazing artist, a sweet person and so amazingly talented and unique and pretty. :D but she doesn’t flaunt her beauty, she’s very modest. love her! <3
remember when I first got into Bat For Lashes. Natasha is
amazing and talented. I really love her. She deserves to win every award. her voice is amazing there isn’t anyone else with a voice like Natasha. The video is amazing and addicting but after watching millions of times I prefer her live videos and Prescilla but they’re all amazing videos. Prescilla’s the best one though.

As I move around trendy/arty places in London, Daniel is being played quite often.
Its great to see Natasha and the band gaining the wider recognition they deserved.
Daniel is awesome, I love the performance on you ‘the late show’. The drumming is awsome. The whole performance is a thing of real beauty
