Bat for Lashes 2010 BRIT Nomination
Bat for Lashes has been nominated for the Best British Female Solo Act in the 2010 BRIT Awards.
The awards will be announced Tuesday 16 February at London’s Earls Court Arena

You seem modest enough to be thrilled simply to be nominated again, but you so deserve to finally win one of these awards, on the basis of both your gorgeous albums and your peerless live performances (having caught your brilliant Oxford show last Oct). Fingers crossed that Tash gets the BRIT award for best British Female Act. Saw her at the Liverpool Academy and she blew me away….what a stunning voice and what a performer…and that fact that Tash writes all her own material and sounds brilliant live means she deserves to win!!!
