A message from Natasha
Greetings from the rainy English coast…
I hope you all had a brilliant 2009 and saw the new year in with true style!
I have almost found my way back down to earth after my year under the glow of Two Suns…and what a year it was. I want to thank all of you so much for your support in coming to gigs and buying the record. It was so wonderful to be able to play and make music that came from the heart. I especially enjoyed giving cuddles in my big furry coats to the fans who waited outside in the freezing cold after the shows. Seeing glittery faces smiling and dancing in the crowd! Those moments got me through some tough days away from home.
Dueting with Pearl on the last UK tour, playing Latitude and meeting a real life wolf were also highlights of mine.
Now its January, and i have almost finished putting together a tiny studio in my house so that I can prepare for the new sounds that are starting to hum at me before night falls…little bats flitting in the dark. Good job its tiny cause they can be pretty hard to catch! AHH!
I’d like to say Im very flattered that Two Suns was nominated for a Mercury award and amazed that I’ve been nominated for a Brit award! How funny its going to be hanging out with all the big wigs again! Last time i took my brother as my date, he pinched Kylie’s bum at the after show party…I drowned laughing in a mass of champagne bubbles!
Finally, Im really looking forward to meeting those of you that are coming to the South American Coldplay dates in February. Sarah Jones is doing great things with her New Young Ponies this year and sadly can’t make it, but we have an ace new drummer named Valentina who will be stepping in so you can dance and shake your booties in the heat with us!
Happy 2010!! Keep your hearts wild and free til next time!
xx…x.x…..x..xx.

You are the sweetest person. (We met a couple of times but you’ll proabably never remember me). I want to know that I am wanting you to be happy and fabtastically fulfilled in 2010. You deserve it. Go and write an opera or something profound.
Heaps of love,

When Are you coming to New Zealand. You tunes are ringing true here and we’d love to see you! I’m sure you’d love it here too!
Just watched your Glastonbury clip of ‘Daniel’ on youtube and it looked amazing! Must be one of your best gigs?
Loving the tunes and looking forward to a new album ... hopefully this year!

I’ve been listening to Two Suns since its debut. I can’t stop listening to it. Its in my car on autoplay.
I thought after Kate Bush,Bjork and Tori Amos I wouldn’t find an original female artist to listen to, until you debuted fur and gold.
You’re amazing. You are the most original and talented artist at this moment. I can’t wait until your third album! Good Luck with the South American tour with Coldplay!!

Happy New Year, Natasha.
Thanks for making 2009 special by producing the best album and the best gigs (Edinburgh was sensational and I missed the last bus to see your midnight set at Bestival!)
Enjoy the gigs in South America and hope you get lots of inspiration for the next album (early 2011 hopefully).
It’s good to have this comment feature on the site at last. Would’ve liked a forum these past 3 years although they do bring their problems. I’ve been singing your praises elsewhere though.
All the best.

I just want to say that you have been such an inspiration to me. I relate to your music on such a deep level and you have inspired me to muster up the courage and finally share my music and my art. On a side note, I felt like Two Suns was telling my story (I have been a fan since Fur and Gold but Two Suns is so personal for me)...I gave up everything and moved across the country for a boy I loved, only then realizing it wasn’t right. Motivated by your words ( and beautiful music),I have remembered how to follow my heart, my intuition and my true self. Thank you for touching my life Natasha…it means more that you know.
xo,
Carrie

I saw you in Cardiff last year and you gave me goosey bumps. Creativity oozes from your soul and I felt privileged to witness it. Stay beautiful.
